Nope that Mint Mobile is a reseller of AT&T mobile network services. The APN settings for Mint Mobile and the iPhone is as follows:

You will note that the APN says Wholesale and that you dont need a username or password to connect to their network. The Android settings however you will note that there are more settings. Notice that the MMSC has to be added with the MCC and MNC. Other than those two you dont need to really add anything other than the name of the access point and the APN which is called Wholesale. These APN settings are very easy to complete.
