Set date and time

Connect to Wi-Fi
The Samsung Galaxy A5 has a WiFi option and you can use this at home when you have turned it on. You can also scan the area to see which WiFi connections are available networks. You can also use this for using internet on your mobile phone when there is a wireless hotspot.

Change the notification sound for text messages (SMS)

Change the network connection mode

Enable or disable NFC

Switch off data when abroad

Transfer data to another phone
You can transfer data to another phone from the Samsung Galaxy A5 mobile phone. You will note above that you can also transfer data via your Bluetooth. Most prefer to do it via the SDcard. See the instructions below for more information.
Check your IMEI while on a call

Format your memory card

5. | Tap Format SD Card again. |
6. | Tap Erase everything. |
Activate vibrating alert
1. | From the home screen tap Apps. |
2. | Tap Settings. |

4. | Tap ‘Vibrate when ringing’ to enable or disable vibrating alerts. |
